NEVER VERA BLUE by Alexandra Wood, Edinburgh Fringe 2018

Theatre

Anatomy Lecture Theatre – Summerhall | 1-26 AUGUST 2018 at 1:05pm

It’s hard to know things, isn’t it? Have you ever found that, it’s really hard to know.

She’s five foot five. She’s almost certain. But if she was the size she thinks she is she couldn’t be here and if she doesn’t even know her own dimensions, what hope is there at all?

Written by Fringe First winning writer Alexandra Wood in response to conversations with survivors of domestic abuse, NEVER VERA BLUE is a disorientating story of one woman’s journey to recover who she is.

From the city to the Kent coast, from a war-torn land to the pit of the stomach, this one-woman show performed by Laura Dos Santos explores just what it means to be made to doubt yourself and how to regain a sense of identity

“reverberates quietly long after it’s over” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Guardian (on Alexandra Wood’s The Human Ear)
