Reviews in for Al Blyth’s “brainy and brilliant” THE HAYSTACK

Theatre

Critics and audiences alike loved Al Blyth’s play THE HAYSTACK, which runs at The Hampstead Theatre until 7 March 2020. THE HAYSTACK is Blyth’s first full-length play and Roxana Silbert also makes her directing debut as Hampstead Theatre’s Artistic Director.

In his four star review The Guardian’s Mark Lawson described it as “a pacy, brainy surveillance thriller” that  “should be widely watched”, whilst The Stage characterises it as “grip[ping] like a vice” and “extremely accomplished”, also awarding the play four stars.

It wasn’t just the critics – this twitter moment sums up some of the wonderful audience reactions!
