Helen Edmundson’s new play, Queen Anne will run from November 19 to January 23 in the Swan Theatre. The play is about the relationship between Queen Anne and the Duchess of Marlborough and will be directed by Natalie Abrahami, who makes her RSC directorial debut.
Also in the Swan Theatre, Marina Carr’s Hecuba, a reimagining of Euripides’ play, will run from September 17 to October 17, directed by Erica Whyman. This searing new commission by Marina Carr explores war, womanhood and regime change.
