It’s a triple whammy for The Agency in this year’s BAFTA Cymru Best Writer Category, with three of our writers being nominated for the award: Andrew Davies (LES MISERABLES), Fflur Dafydd (35 AWR) and Russell T Davies (A VERY ENGLISH SCANDAL). All three have a long and shining history with the BAFTA Cymru Awards. This is Fflur’s second writer nomination and the ninth nomination for her productions, including nominations for her feature film THE LIBRARY SUICIDES and beloved Welsh-language drama PARCH. Russell was previously given the Siân Phillips Award in 2006, and has four previous Best Screenwriter awards for TORCHWOOD and DOCTOR WHO. Andrew was given the BAFTA Cymru Lifetime Achievement Award in 2007 and was previously nominated for both FILIPINA SCREENGIRLS and THE OLD DEVILS in the same year!
