‘Around The World in 80 Days’ Has Successful Launch in Cannes

Ashley Pharoah’s and Caleb Ranson’s new series AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS made its international debut in Cannes on Sunday 10th of October and is set to be one of the TV picks of the year, following early critical and audience acclaim. The series, which stars David Tennant as the eccentric Englishman, Phileas Fogg, is an update on the classic novel by Jules Verne and has been adapted by Agency supremo writers Ashley Pharoah and Caleb Ranson.

The series is a British/French co-production from produced by Slim Film + Television and Federation Entertainment for France Télévisions, ZDF and RAI. It will be broadcast on France Télévisions, ZDF, RAI and Masterpiece/PBS, which serves as a co-production partner, alongside Peu Communications (South Africa), Be-FILMS and RTBF (Belgium). Daro Film Distribution is the associate producer.
