DECEIT, a gripping new series written and executive produced by our client Emilia di Girolamo launches on Channel 4 this Friday 13th of August at 9pm with the rest of the series streaming on All4. The 4-part drama expertly penned by our incredible client, explores the highly controversial honeytrap operation that took place during the investigation into the devastating real-life murder of Rachael Nickel in 1992, yet, unlike more conventional shows within the true crime genre, di Girolamo’s script goes further in exploring police culture and the thorny sexual politics of the 1990s.
The series stars Niamh Algar as undercover detective, Lizzie James, along side Eddie Marsan, Harry Treadaway, Sion Daniel Young, Rochenda Sandall and Nathaniel Martello-White.
The show was produced by Story Films and commissioned by Caroline Hollick and Gwawr Lloyd for Channel 4.
