Lizzy Caplan will star alongside August Wittgenstein and Rick Okon in the €25 million TV version of DAS BOOT. Writers include Laura Grace and Simon Allen. The drama will act as a sequel to the classic film and novel. Production will start in August in La Rochelle, Prague, Malta and Munich and will be broadcast on Sky in the U.K.
Sonar Entertainment, Sky, and Bavaria Fernsehproduktion are making the series. Sonar will handle distribution outside of the Sky territories.
