All at The Agency would like to pass on our congratulations to our clients Mick Ford and Azhur Saleem for AFTER THE FLOOD (Quay Street Productions/ITV) , which was announced today will be coming soon on ITV1 and Britbox International.
The six part series is a mystery, eco-thriller and is penned by Mick (Writer and Executive Producer) with Azhur behind the camera (Director and Executive Producer). It is produced by Nicola Shindler’s fledgling indie Quay Street Productions by Shindler and Richard Fee. The mystery thriller will examine the real impact of climate change on the residents of a small town.
AFTER THE FLOOD is set in a town hit by a devastating flood, where an unidentified man is found dead in a lift in an underground car park. Originally assumed to have become trapped as the waters rose, an investigation unfolds, with PC Joanna Marshall (Rundle) determined to discover what happened to him.
The cast is led by GENTLEMAN JACK and PEAKY BLINDERS star Sophie Rundle and includes Philip Glenister, Lorraine Ashbourne, Nicholas Gleaves, Matt Stokoe, Jonas Armstrong and Jacqueline Boatswain.
The series was ordered for ITV1 and ITVX by head of drama Polly Hill, with drama commissioner Huw Kennair-Jones overseeing production. BritBox International is a co-production partner.
