The Agency is delighted to read the news reported in Deadline and the trade press, that Simon Burke‘s series DOMINA has been renewed for an eight part second series with EPIX. The drama, which landed to great acclaim when it appeared on our screens for series 1, follows a turbulent period in Roman History following the bloody and violent Imperial family, and extraordinary rise of Gaius, Emperor Augustus Caesar’s third wife, and Livia Drusilla, played by Kasia Smutniak.
TALL client Amy Rodriguez is also producing the first block.
Season 2 is scheduled to begin production this spring at Cinecittà Studios in Rome and will premiere on Epix in the U.S. and Sky across Europe in 2023.&nb犀利士 sp;
TALL client Simon Burke is Writer, Creator and Executive Producer of the series, and the renewal follows a deal between Epix and Banijay Rights for a second season with producers Tiger Aspect. Executive Producers also include Lucy Bedford, Muirinn Lane Kelly and Carmel Maloney.
