Andrew Norriss is the Whitbread (now Costa) Award winning author of Aquila re-launched as a Penguin Modern Classic in 2010 to coincide with the publication of the sequel, Aquila 2. He started his writing career in TV and now writes novels full time. The Touchstone, The Unluckiest Boy in the World and The Portal are all published by Puffin.

Andrew’s more recent novels have been for older readers. Jessica’s Ghost was published by David Fickling Books (UK) and Scholastic (US). Similarly Mike was published by DFB (UK) and Scholastic (US).

Andrew’s most recent title, Felix Unlimited (David Fickling Books), is about how one ordinary boy’s wish to become an entrepreneur brings something extraordinary to the lives of everyone he knows.
