Rebecca wrote her first children’s novels for Chicken House, Valentine Joe and Rose in the Blitz. She has also written a retelling of Emma for Oxford University Press.

Rebecca is a prolific TV writer who has worked on Bing Bunny, Byker Grove and Rupert Bear.

Set in 1918, her latest title Lily and the Rockets is about a women’s football team. This timeless story of football, friendship and determination was published by Chicken House in 2019.
