Joshua Reeves is a writer and director for television and film.

He is currently a returning director for ITV’s EMMERDALE and CORONATION STREET.

Joshua’s debut short film MARCUS premiered on Amazon Prime, and his follow-up shorts, OXTAIL, LONG WALK HOME (both funded by Sony) and SOFTY (BFI) all found success; the latter winning Best UK Short Film at the British Urban Film Festival and Best Young Performance at the Brighton Rock Film Festival.

Joshua has gained an impressive range of experience in various creative roles across TV production and digital, working with channels, production companies and distributors such as ITV, BBC, Red Productions, Little Studio Studios (All3Media), WildBrain and Sky.

Joshua is creatively drawn to stories that explore underrepresented groups and viewpoints, both as a writer and director.
