All at The Agency are very excited to see three of our fantastic clients will be debuting films at this year’s BFI London Film Festival. We would like to pass on our congratulations to all involved in the making of these three superb feature films for making this popular and prestigious selection.
As previously announced, The Agency is thrilled that kicking off the festival will be the brilliant MATILDA, which will be the Gala opening screening of the festival. This is directed by TALL client (and Tony, BFI and Emmy Award Winning Director) Mathew Warchus and produced by Tim Bevan, Eric Fellner, Jon Finn and Luke Kell, with Emma Thompson leading a dazzling ensemble musical in this big screen adaptation of the smash-hit, Oliver-winning stage musical.
MATILDA will play on Wednesday 5th October at The Southbank Centre and again on Thursday 6th October at 11:45 at The Southbank Centre.
ALLELUJIAH will be screened at the festival as part of the Special Presentations. Written by the wonderful Heidi Thomas (the brain behind, amongst others, the much-loved CALL THE MIDWIFE), the film is produced by Damian Jones and Kevin Loader with Richard Eyre directing.
ALLELUJIAH is an all-star adaptation of Alan Bennett’s acclaimed play about a hospital for the elderly under threat of closure. It is a lively, witty and often acerbic critique. It will star veteran, heavy-weight stars like Jennifer Saunders, Bally Gill, David Bradley, Derek Jacobi, Judi Dench, Russell Tovey and Julia McKenzie.
ALLELUJIAH plays on Sunday 9th of October at 20:00 at the Southbank Centre and on Tuesday 11th October at 20:45 at the Curzon Mayfiar.
THE ORIGIN is a prehistoric horror and the feature film debut written by BIFA Nominated, Screen International Star of Tomorrow Ruth Greenberg.
