Sophie joined The Agency in 2020, having previously worked in publishing. She has assisted a variety of agents within the company including Jonathan Kinnersley and Norman North, and has twice covered for colleagues during their maternity leaves, expanding her knowledge across film, theatre and television. Sophie now works as an associate to founding partner Stephen Durbridge, whilst continuing to develop a diverse list of her own writers. She is particularly interested in hearing from under-represented voices with a proven track record in the industry.

For further details on how to submit work to Sophie, please see the submission guidelines page. Unfortunately, due to the volume of submissions received, she is not always able to respond individually.
