A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE Review round up “Spare, untampered purity”

News Theatre

Lindsay Posner’s (Noises Off, Who’s Afraid of Virginia Wolf, Fiddler on the Roof) revival of Arthur Miller’s A View From The Bridge, had its West End press night yesterday and has received glowing reviews. After its sell-out run at Theatre Royal Bath’s Ustinov Studio earlier this year, Lindsay Posner’s production of Miller’s timeless classic will be running at Theatre Royal Haymarket until the 3rd August.

BAFTA award winner Dominic West (The Affair ,The Wire, The Crown), stars as Eddie Carbone in Arthur Miller’s timeless masterpiece of illicit and barely repressed sexual passion. Dominic West leads an all-star cast in this hotly anticipated production, as he is joined by Olivier and Tony Award nominee Kate Fleetwood (Harry Potter, Macbeth, London Road) and BAFTA Cymru award winner Callum Scott Howells (It’s A Sin, Cabaret). The sound designer for the production is agency client Ed Lewis (Box Of Delights, Force Majeure, Henry V).

⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Independent

“By not imposing anything on the play, Posner lets contemporary resonances – the precariousness of being a migrant – speak for themselves.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐ London Theatre

“Dominic West gives a strong performance in Miller’s classic play”

“Naturalist, earthy and often surprisingly funny.”
