The film is written and directed by client Andrew Haigh and is based on the 1987 novel “Strangers” by Taichi Yamada and stars the likes of Andrew Scott as Adam, a screenwriter who has a chance encounter with his mysterious neighbor Harry played by Paul Mescal, and the journey it leads him down. The film is produced by Graham Broadbent, Pete Czernin, and Sarah Harvey.
The film will be distributed by Fox Searchlight and is set for limited release on December 22nd, and will open alongside Illumination’s “Migration” and the sports drama “The Iron Claw”.
