On the 6th of April 2024, the iconic feel-good show MAMMA MIA! celebrated it’s 25th anniversary. The Agency clients, Catherine Johnson (writer), and Martin Lowe (original Musical Director), have been involved in the show since it’s conception.
MAMMA MIA! premiered in the West End in 1999, and since then the production has established itself as one of the most loved and celebrated musical stories of all time.
Set against the backdrop of the beautiful Greek island landscape, the story is driven by the iconic music of ABBA, who simultaneously celebrated their 50th anniversary since winning Eurovision in 1974. MAMMA MIA! has been seen in over 50 productions and 16 different languages, grossing more than $4 billion at the box office, also with two record-breaking feature films to its name.
