This year the agency presents over twelve hours of festive television, including:

 

LAST TANGO IN HALIFAX Christmas Special: BBC One, 9pm on 19th and 20th December
Sally Wainwright’s BAFTA Award-Winning drama returns for a festive Two-parter. Anne Reid and Derek Jacobi return as Celia and Alan, along with their feisty daughters Caroline (Sarah Lancashire) and Gillian (Nicola Walker).

 

MOUSE AND MOLE AT CHRISTMAS TIME
CBeebies: 5pm on 21st December, 3:50pm on Christmas Eve and 11:40am on Christmas Day. Based on the book by Joyce Dunbar.

The nuns of Nonnatus House will be getting a bit of winter sun as they escape chilly East London for the warmer climes of South Africa in Heidi Thomas’ 2016 Christmas special.

 

ETHEL AND ERNEST; BBC One, Wednesday 28th December at 7:30pm
Based on the much-loved graphic novel by Raymond Briggs about his parents who lived through major changes during their decades of marriage. Voices include Brenda Blethyn and Jim Broadbent.

 

TO WALK INVISIBLE; BBC One, Thursday 29th December at 9pm
Bafta-winning writer Sally Wainwright’s TO WALK INVISIBLE is an original 1 x 120’ drama exploring the extraordinary Brontë sisters; Charlotte, Anne and Emily, who together wrote some of the greatest novels in the English language.
