Pins & Needles’ stage production of Father Christmas, based on the classic story by Raymond Briggs, has returned to the stage!
Back for another year, this Olivier Award-nominated production follows the story of Father Christmas as he awakes from a dream of sun, sea and sand only to find it is the busiest day of the year: Christmas Eve. After preparing his Christmas deliveries and feeding his reindeer, Father Christmas finally takes flight into the snowy night.
Co-produced by the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre, Father Christmas is being staged at the Lyric itself (22 Nov-30 Dec 2023) as well as The Berry Theatre Eastleigh (9 Dec-31 Dec) and the Theatre Royal Plymouth (23 Nov-31 Dec 2023).
Directed by Emma Earle, this festive adaptation is great for children 0-6yrs and the whole family.
Raymond Briggs’ Father Christmas also celebrates its 50th Anniversary this year, and Puffin have marked the occasion with a special anniversary paperback edition. What better time to enjoy this classic Christmas story!
