LEAN ON PETE screens at Venice, Telluride, and Toronto Film Festivals

LEAN ON PETE premiered at Venice Biennale on the 1st of September, followed by North American screenings in Toronto and Telluride.

Written and directed by Andrew Haigh, LEAN ON PETE is adapted from Willy Vlautin’s novel of the same name and stars rising star Charlie Plummer as a fifteen-year-old boy who takes a summer job with a washed-up horse trainer, befriending a failing racehorse named Lean On Pete. The cast also includes Steve Buscemi, Chloë Sevigny, Steve Zahn, and Travis Fimmel. Lean On Pete is produced by Tristan Goligher for The Bureau.
