The New Zealand Writers Guild and Irirangi Te Motu NZ On Air have partnered together to create the Kōpere Ake Grant. The Agency client Max Currie has been selected as one of the 2023 recipients of the grant.
This program has been developed to support and uplift Aotearoa screenwriters in the landscape of high-end TV. The Kōpere Ake Grant assists writers in developing original TV pilot ideas.
Aside from development, writers are also assisted from the legal and marketing standpoint. This prepares them to pitch their ideas to various studios and distributors when ready.
