The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which ran at the Southwark Playhouse, Elephant last year has won the Offie for Best Musical Production.

The new production wasled by WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award winner Jamie Parker and Molly Osborne (Indecent) in the roles of Benjamin Button and Elowen Keene. Penned by Jethro Compton and Darren Clark, it is directed by Compton who also designs the stage, with choreography and movement by Chi-San Howard. “It’s impossible to emphasise the impact and achievement of this utterly wonderful show” (***** WhatsOnStage), “With soaring voices, live violin, cello, guitar, accordion and trumpet, it sounds gorgeous” (**** The Stage),  “the next must-see musical” (**** iNews), “Every element of the production feels smoothly integrated, from prop design to orchestrations” (**** Evening Standard).
