Alice’s TV drama, SOLSTICE HILL, is currently in development with Studio21. It was runner up in the Content London script pitch competition.
After pitching to delegates at Content London, Alice was also selected to attend the WritersRoom Masterclass curated by C21 in assoc. with Script Angel and lead by showrunners Simon Mirren, David Wolstencroft and Yule Caise.
LOST IN FRANCE, a radio play co-written by Alice, was broadcast on BBC Radio 4’s Afternoon Drama series starring Sophie Thompson and Phyllida Law. It was an Observer pick and a Radio Times pick, as well as being featured on Radio 4’s Pick of the Week.
Shortlisted scripts include CLING FILM, feature film (BlueCat Screenplay comp 2021); REPORTS, short play (Little Pieces of Gold showcase); HAVEN, short film (BBC Wales & It’s My Shout comp), subsequently produced by Alice.
Other writing work includes a regular column & various pieces (KCW TODAY, 2012-present), and a novel, THE DEFINING ACT OF ALEXA DAVIES.
She is working on a number of original projects for screen, as well as a second novel.
Alice has a degree in English Literature and Education Studies and lives in St Leonards-on-Sea.
