Billie Collins is a writer from the Wirral, based in Manchester. Their debut play TOO MUCH WORLD AT ONCE was produced by Box of Tricks in Spring 2023, opening at HOME Manchester before touring nationally.
Other recent work includes: PEAK STUFF (ThickSkin Theatre), which toured the UK in 2024 and was one of the winners of the Writers’ Guild, HighTide and the ITC’s New Play Commission Scheme and BELTANE which was selected to be one of the RSC’s 37 Plays programme in 2023.
Billie has previously written for CBBC, BBC Radio 4, and was shortlisted for the 2021 Papatango Prize. They are the Young Writers Lead at the Royal Exchange Theatre, and also work as a dramaturg and script reader for organisations across stage and screen. They have hosted panel discussions and Q&As for festival and events including Aesthetica, BFI FLARE and the London Film Festival.
