About Caleb Ranson

Before writing for film and TV Caleb worked in a number of jobs; from being a roadie for such indie Gods as The Inspiral Carpets and The Wedding Present, to directing pop promos for some truly awful metal bands, to working as an usher in Manchester’s iconic Contact Theatre. Responsible for over 200 hours of original drama, he has written and created some of the biggest successes on British TV in recent years and worked all over the world creating shows for the US, France, Germany, Poland, Italy and Spain. He escaped Manchester 12 years ago and now lives in Dorset with his wife, three kids and far too many animals.
