Joel is a British Iranian writer. He recently wrote an episode of SEXY BEAST produced by Chapter One for Paramount+ and has a number of original projects in development including a series about corporate espionage and an eco thriller.

Joel’s original crime drama LOVE AND WAR was a finalist in the Writerslam Amazon Audible screenwriting contest and his original adventure drama JUDE MONROE placed in the top 5 finalists in the international C21 Script Competition.

Joel studied Film at Queen Mary University of London. His passion for storytelling earned him a role in the development team at Playground Entertainment where he supported and added to their slate of high-end drama. Challenged and inspired by Britain’s talented screenwriters, he continues to write his own material and is currently working as a script executive.
