Matthew Warchus is a director of theatre, opera and film. He has directed award-winning productions for all the major British theatre companies (including a debut with the RSC as the youngest director ever on the Stratford main stage). He is the Artistic Director of the Old Vic Theatre, London. He directed the film adaptation of Matilda the Musical based on the stage musical with screenplay by Dennis Kelly and songs by Tim Minchin.
