Max is a writer/director from New Zealand.  His writing work spans writers’ rooms, script writing & editing.  As a director, he’s helmed multi award-winning films and Emmy-winning television.

Last year, the LGBTQ+ drama Max helmed as both co-showrunner and series director, Rūrangi, won the International Emmy for best shortform series.  The previous year, Max was awarded Best Director at the New Zealand Television Awards, also for Rūrangi.  But because life is strange and people are multifaceted, he’s probably best known for being PitCrew on RuPaul’s Drag Race Down Under.
