6 x 60 BAFTA-nominated series set in 1950’s Tangier, inspired by Anais Nin’s erotic writings.

Ruth was an executive producer at Warp Films for five years.  Previously, she spent three years with international rights management company Eccho Rights at their head office in Stockholm, focusing on the sale and management of scripted formats. She was formerly head of development at Potboiler Productions, a development producer at Ruby Films, a creative executive at Filmfour, head of development at Pathe Productions and a script editor at BBC Scotland, where she started her career.

Films she developed and worked on include Lynne Ramsay’s debut Ratcatcher, Garth Jennings’ Son of Rambow, Thomas Vinterberg’s It’s All About Love, Simon Beaufoy and Billie Eltringham’s The Darkest Light and Soren Kragh-Jacobsen’s Skagerrak. She has written original and adapted screenplays for Channel 4, the Irish Film Board, UK Film Council, BBC Films and the Swedish Film Institute.
