Tim Foley is a writer based in Manchester. He is currently under commission from the Royal Exchange Theatre for a main stage show in 2025.
His plays include DRIFTWOOD (Pentabus Theatre Company/ThickSkin Theatre, 2023); ELECTRIC ROSARY (Royal Exchange Theatre, 2022); ASTRONAUTS OF HARTLEPOOL (VAULT festival, 2017); and THE DOGS OF WAR (Old Red Lion Theatre, 2015). He previously won the Bruntwood Prize Judge’s Award and the OffWestEnd Award for Most Promising New Playwright.
His audio drama includes DOCTOR WHO and TORCHWOOD for Big Finish Productions. In 2022 he won the Scribe Award from the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers.
He is published by Nick Hern Books.
