Christine Murphy is a graduate of the MA Screenwriting at London College of Communication and a former Script Editor for Carlton Television. She script-edited the BAFTA award-winning series UNCLE DAD for SMG/ITV.
Christine was nominated for the Dennis Potter Award in 2003 for GYPSY BABY.
In 2009, she won the Northern Ireland Screen Low Budget Fiction Feature Fund for WEE BUNS (which was produced under the title CUP CAKE).
In 2011, she was one of ten writers selected to take part in a unique TV Series Development Course with Lisa Albert and Janet Leahy, writers/producers of MAD MEN.
In 2013, she won the Irish Writers’ Guild’s Zebbie Award for Best Radio Script for her debut radio drama, KICKING THE AIR.
In 2016, Christine was one of eight writers from across Europe selected to take part in the prestigious eQuinoxe film script workshops.
