Kitty Percy is a screenwriter whose credits include the short film Kismet Diner (written to a brief for MOFILMS / Cornetto) which collected first prize in the 2013 Manhattan Short Film Festival. A follow-up short, Together Apart, won a Silver Lion at Cannes and a D&AD Pencil in the Branded Content category.
Kitty is currently under commission to write the feature film adaptation of Alex Gino’s groundbreaking novel GEORGE, recent winner of the first ever Stonewall Young Adult Literature Award. It is being produced by Racine Media and UTA, with Nathan Morlando directing. Other projects in development include a film adaptation of Morris Gleitzman’s GRACE, for Conker Films.
Kitty was one of the writers on Philip Shelley’s prestigious Channel 4 Screenwriting Course. Her feature script BUTTER SIDE UP won the 2015 BlueCat Screenplay Contest Cordelia Prize. TV script THE POINT OF YOU was a winner of the Bafta Rocliffe New Writing Forum. Kitty has an MA in Screenwriting from the University of the Arts London.
