The nominations have been revealed for this year’s Olivier Awards, which celebrate the best in British theatre. Among the nominees are number of Agency Clients and the outstanding shows they have worked on this year.

Agency clients included in this year’s nominations include Director Sam Mendes (The Motive and the Cue, The Hills of California) who has been nominated for best director. Mark Gatiss has been nominated for Best Actor for his performance in The Motive and the Cue as Sir Arthur John Geilgud, and Laura Donnelly has been nominated for Best Actress for her performance The Hills of California. Both plays have been nominated Best New Play (written by Jack Thorne and Jez Butterworth respectively).
Operation Mincemeat, directed by Agency Client Robert Hastie has seen a number of nominations this year including Best New Musical, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor and Best Supporting Actress.
Macbeth at the Donmar Warehouse has also received several nominations including Best Revival, Best Sound Design and Best Actor for David Tennant.
The Swell written by Agency Client Isley Lynn at Orange Tree theatre received Outstanding Achievement in affiliate theatre and Giles Terera has received a nomination for best actor in a supporting role for his performance in Clyde’s which was directed by Lynette Linton.
The Bush Theatre also received two nomination for Outstanding Achievement in affiliate theatre with Sleepova by Matilda Feyişayo and A Playlist For The Revolution by AJ Yi. Sleepova was directed by Agency Client Jade Lewis. This marks a fourth consecutive year of nominations for The Bush under Lynette Linton in this category, backing up three consecutive wins from 2020 – 2023.
Groundhog Day directed by Agency Client Matthew Warchus has received a nomination for best musical revival alongside Guys and Dolls, Hadestown and Sunset Boulevard.
Other shows which Agency Clients have worked on have also received a number of nominations including Accidental Death of an Anarchist (Sound Design by Annie May Fletcher) and Dear England (Additional Music by Max Perryment).
