Mark Denton and Jonny Stockwood are writing partners whose original 8-part conspiracy thriller, STRANGERS, was produced for ITV/Amazon by Two Brothers Pictures and starred John Simm, Emilia Fox and Anthony Wong. They are currently developing various television projects, including BREAKING EDEN for Archery Pictures. They are also writing a new feature film with director Justin Martin.
They have contributed several episodes of SLOW HORSES for See-Saw Films and Apple, based on the books by Mick Herron and starring Gary Oldman and Kristin Scott-Thomas. Their previous credits include working on two series of MEDICI: MASTERS OF FLORENCE, created by Frank Spotnitz and produced by Big Light/Lux Vide, and the feature adaptation of iBOY, co-written with Joe Barton, produced by Wigwam Films for Netflix.
Mark and Jonny met at the University of Exeter, where Mark studied politics before embarking on a year’s internship in the House of Commons, and Jonny studied Geography followed by an MA in International Relations.
