Agency clients triumph as BAFTA TV and Craft nominations announced

The Agency’s amazing start to 2019 continues as the BAFTA TV and Craft nominations were announced earlier today.

Anna Symon‘s stunning debut original series MRS WILSON picked up a total of 4 nominations across the TV and Craft awards including Best Drama Mini Series.

Five-time BAFTA winner Russell T Davies was also recognised in the Best Drama Mini Series category for A VERY ENGLISH SCANDAL which was nominated across 12 categories including Best Drama Writer.

Whilst Jimmy McGovern‘s acclaimed CARE received a nod for Best Single Drama.

Elsewhere Paul Coleman is nominated for the coveted Best Comedy Writer award for his smash-hit CAR SHARE with the finale episode making the shortlist for TV’s Must See Moment of this year. Malorie Blackman‘s episode of DOCTOR WHO, which she co-wrote with Chris Chibnall, is also up for the Virgin Media sponsored award – the only award to be decided by the general public. Meanwhile Tim Telling is nominated in Entertainment Craft for THE MASH REPORT.

The main Bafta Television Awards will be handed out on 12 May at the Royal Festival Hall in London and the ceremony will be shown on BBC One.

The Bafta TV Craft Awards will be presented separately on 28 April.
